When Mircea invited me to the dedication of Eternal Families Village 2 in Tabora, Tanzania, I expected a celebration. I didn’t expect to be so overwhelmed by what I saw.
Remember the Children’s presence was everywhere—even on the shirts worn by children from Village 1 as they sang and danced during the celebration. I sat in the front row watching them rehearse and couldn’t hold back a few tears.
The seven new homes of Village 2 represent far more than buildings. Together, they will provide safe, family-style homes for 126 additional children who need a place to belong. Each home is designed to provide the love, stability, dignity, and encouragement children need to grow and prepare for a hopeful future.
I also learned that Eternal Families School now has 712 students enrolled. A humbling number that will change the trajectory of so many lives.
As I watched the children sing and dance, I found myself reflecting on all that has been accomplished over the past nine years. What began as an empty piece of land has become two villages giving 250 children a home, a school, a sustainable farm providing food and income, and a medical clinic scheduled for dedication this coming week.
Today we celebrate not only what God has done but what He continues to do. To every partner who prayed, gave, served, and faithfully stewarded what God provided; thank you. You helped build more than homes. You helped build a future filled with family, hope, and opportunity. For generations.
