Last Sunday at Impact Church was one of those moments that reminds us why this work matters.
For so many students, faith can feel distant or uncertain and they are not quite sure how to take their next step. That’s where the church is able to step in and create a place where they can see what it looks like to follow Jesus.
Ron Kastens, part of the Praxis 2 teaching team, shared a powerful message during Sunday service about baptism sharing what it means to step into a new beginning and publicly declare a life changed by Christ. It was simple, clear, and exactly what many in the room needed to hear.
And then, we got to see it!
Two students from the ministry responded by taking that next step of faith through baptism. Surrounded by their church family, they chose to say “yes” to Jesus in a way that was both personal and public. It was a moment filled with joy and a deep sense that God is actively at work in their lives.
This is visual Church impact. It was a privilege to remind these new believers they don’t have to navigate faith alone, but instead are invited into a community that walks with them.
