Church Planting = Effective Evangelism

One of the most powerful ways the Gospel reaches people is through new churches—places rooted right in the community where real life happens. Agape Church is one of those places. Supported by Remember the Children, this church plant exists to bring hope, faith, and belonging to people who need it most.

This February, Agape Church steps into its fourth year of ministry. Like many young churches, the journey hasn’t been easy—especially because Agape intentionally serves individuals and families who are underemployed or unemployed. Because of that focus, the church still relies on outside support for about half of its needs. Even so, Agape continues to be a steady light in its community.

This past Christmas offered a beautiful glimpse of why this work matters. A young couple came to Agape in early December, both searching for something deeper. She had grown up around faith but had drifted away. He was struggling with alcohol, and the strain was taking a toll on their relationship. Living together and wanting more for their future, they knew something needed to change.

Pastor Danny, Agape’s church planter, took time to listen, pray, and walk with them. In a powerful step of faith, the couple chose to get married. The young man committed to sobriety, and just weeks later, he was baptized. Today, both are growing in their faith, actively involved in discipleship, and laying a new foundation for their family.

Stories like this are happening again and again through church plants like Agape. When a local church is present, people find hope, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose.

None of this would be possible without faithful partners like you. Your prayers and support make space for these moments of transformation to happen.

As Agape Church enters its fourth year, we’re deeply grateful—and full of hope—for the many stories God is still writing in this community.
