For the past 14 years, you have been part of a steady, faithful story unfolding at House of Hope. Through your generosity, children there have received consistent care, encouragement, and the reminder that they are seen and valued.
Because of this long-term presence, local child protection leaders have taken notice—and they’ve invited our team to visit other nearby homes to simply spend time with the children and bring encouragement.
One of those visits led us to a small home where several girls with developmental challenges live together. The house is modest—just three rooms—but it’s filled with warmth thanks to the devoted caregivers who serve them every day.
When our team visited at Christmas, we came bearing gifts. The girls responded with something even more meaningful: handmade cards and ornaments, created just for us. Two of those cards even found their way back to me, lovingly addressed to “Santa Andy.”
Not long after Christmas, their stove and oven stopped working. With no resources to replace it, the home’s director reached out. A message came to me with a smile: “Santa has one more request.”
Because of your support through Christmas Hope, the answer was yes. A new stove was purchased, and the girls can once again gather around warm meals prepared with care. They sent a photo to say thank you—standing proudly beside the new appliance. I’ve also been promised homemade cookies on my next visit.
This is what your generosity makes possible. You step in when the need is real. You bring stability, dignity, and hope. And through Remember the Children’s long-term relationships with homes like these, your kindness reaches exactly where it’s needed most.
Thank you for being part of this story—and for loving these children so well.
