Spending time with a church that treats you like family is deeply encouraging. For sixteen years, Mountain Christian Church has faithfully supported Remember the Children—through monthly gifts, special projects, and teams who have traveled to serve with us in Romania. Their partnership continues to be a steady blessing.
This week we joined them for their Global Impact Celebration (GIC), a triennial gathering of global partners. It was a joy-filled time of worship, learning, shared meals, and reconnecting with friends serving around the world—from Kenya and Mexico to Thailand, Scotland, Brazil, and right in Baltimore. Being part of such a diverse community reminded us that our work in Romania is part of a much larger story God is writing.
A personal highlight was speaking with Mountain’s children and youth. Their curiosity and compassion as they learned about Romania gave us real hope for the next generation of globally minded leaders.
The theme, “Hidden with Christ,” from Colossians 3:3, centered the whole week and reminded us where our purpose begins.
We left feeling deeply grateful—for Mountain’s long-term commitment, their hospitality, and the joy of serving together. This partnership continues to make a meaningful difference, and we’re thankful to walk this road side by side.
