Three Months With Eternal Pre & Primary School

It has been almost a month since we moved into our Eternal school buildings, and almost three months since the government allowed us to teach more than 130 children. It has been a true blessing to see how happy the children are to have a school they can call their own, located near their families. Last Friday of March was very different, as it brought together all of our students and teachers to hear about the investments made in these young people since they started attending our Eternal Pre-Primary School.

I have witnessed the thirst for knowledge within these young people, as they made several presentations, ranging from the youngest children to sixth-graders. The younger children showed their ability to count and describe parts of the body and how they spend their weekdays. It is amazing to see a child under the age of 7 express themselves so well in English. On the other hand, the older children showed their ability to do math and scientific presentations. It was truly a day of happiness and great surprise.

Dionis Buhanda, who is the head and supervisor of all school activities, spoke at the closing of the presentations and preparation for the Easter break. He expressed his joy in seeing how teachers have dedicated themselves to ensuring that children receive sufficient knowledge to compete in this century, and stated that the Eternal Primary School is here to serve community and to create students who are academically excellent, courageous and expressive, and who will receive quality education that will change their lives.

Also School prepared some gifts to motivate students who performed well on their exams to this short Easter break.

Blessings,

Yohana
