Natalie’s love of Romania and Remember the Children was birthed during a mission trip with William Jessup University during the summer of 2014. She found herself in a room at a Transit House (a facility where children are placed when they first enter the Romanian orphan system), looking at a sea of children who were scared and alone. They were without their parents and had experienced circumstances that no human should have to endure. In between tears she uttered, “these kids don’t deserve this. This cannot continue.”
Since that day in 2014, God has placed a passion for Romania in Natalie’s heart and is now a passionate advocate of it. She has been to Romania two more times, serving as a mission team leader in 2016 and assisting the Executive Director with all summer teams in 2017. During every trip, she falls more in love. She adores the hospitality, kindness, and loyalty of the Romanian people, and is excited to go back in the future.
She currently serves as the Web Developer for Remember the Children, and loves using her gifts of design and business to advance the mission of the organization. When she’s not designing websites, she loves drinking coffee, going to the beach, and having a dance party.
Natalie is a graduate of William Jessup University and lives in Sacramento, California.
